The National Project Advisory provides strategic direction, policy alignment, and institutional coordination between national and subnational government stakeholders. This role is essential to ensure that GREEN for Riau supports Indonesia’s climate commitments, including REDD+, Jurisdictional REDD+ (JREDD+), and FOLU Net Sink 2030 ambitions.

The Regional Project Advisors provide technical guidance, international expertise, and programmatic support for the implementation of GREEN for Riau. UNEP and FAO support the initiative in strengthening governance, safeguards, monitoring systems, sustainable land use, and climate action pathways aligned with global standards and best practices.
