This document explains the GREEN for Riau Feedback and Grievance Redress Mechanism (FGRM), an official channel for receiving questions, aspirations, input, complaints, and grievances from the public and stakeholders regarding the implementation of the GREEN for Riau program. This mechanism is designed to be easily accessible, secure, free of charge, protect the confidentiality of the reporter, and ensure that each report is handled transparently, fairly, and accountably.

The FGRM can be used by various parties, including local communities, indigenous peoples, women's groups and vulnerable groups, village and regional governments, Forest Management Units (FMUs), civil society organizations, academics, the private sector, program implementing partners, and other stakeholders. Complaints can address social conflicts, environmental impacts, program or administrative issues, sensitive issues through special channels, and other forms of grievances related to the implementation of GREEN for Riau.

This document also includes information on reporting channels, complainants' rights, the main principles of the FGRM, the complaint handling process, frequently asked questions, communication templates, and outreach and dissemination strategies. Through these mechanisms, GREEN for Riau strives to strengthen program governance, increase transparency and accountability, prevent and resolve conflicts constructively, protect community rights, and support the credible and sustainable implementation of JREDD+ in Riau Province.
